Performance Tasks

Performance assessments are activities or questions based on real life scenarios that embody the concept taught during the lesson or unit. This provides students with the opportunity to see how the knowledge they are working to master in the classroom has real-world applications. One example of a performance task that students working on addition and subtraction might do is fill in and balance a mock checkbook.
