I had the opportunity to interview for a few positions over the summer. They were great experiences that really got me ready for interviews once I am credentialed. I had one position that was posted as Kindergarten but when I interviewed I discovered that it was actually for Transitional Kindergarten. Additionally, I interviewed for a sixth-grade core (History, Reading and Language Arts) position but it was adjusted (after the initial posting) to be only half time. Wonderful interview opportunities but unfortunately I am unable to accept the position in my current credential program does not support TK or half time teaching positions. School started today so I have confirmed that I will travel the student teaching route to earn my credential in the spring.
