Rubrics are a form that can be used in the workplace or in the classroom. As a teacher, I use rubrics to help my students understand what is expected of them for an assignment. This form is separate from the instructions for an assignment. Rubrics can be used during the assignment creation process to give students feedback and/or to grade final products/assignments. Rubrics give a list of criteria (what is being evaluated) and describes multiple levels of assignment quality from no credit to maximum credit.
